Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a surgical setting, where your compassionate care and technical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' journeys. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols. Your expertise in various medical procedures and patient support will contribute to a seamless surgical experience and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Assist surgical team by preparing patients for procedures, including vital signs assessment and patient positioning. Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases, documenting vital signs, medical records, and relevant observations using Electronic Health Record (EHR). Support infection control protocols through aseptic technique and proper sterilization procedures during patient care activities. Provide post-operative care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure clarity of care plans and comfort levels. Maintain thorough documentation of patient care activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations and policies. Requirements Valid CNA certification Demonstrated experience working in surgical environments or acute care settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care. Ability to perform vital signs monitoring accurately. Strong communication skills Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and to stand for extended periods during surgical procedures. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
