CNA - PM Shift - Every Other Weekend

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team on the day shift. This is an every other weekend position. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our residents and patients. Duties Assist with daily patient activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing techniques like aseptic procedures and memory care strategies. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility assistance. Collaborate with nursing staff to observe changes in patient condition and communicate effectively about patient needs or concerns. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Requirements Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of employment. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient service. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or gait belts.
