Job Description

New Hope Gracious Personal Care's goal is to enhance the lives of seniors by providing a place that feels like home. The CNA Supervisor is a supervisory position reporting to the Administrator, that ensures the care staff is properly trained, and provides the oversight of the care staff and clinical operations to make certain the highest quality of care is provided to the residents residing in the home. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Help to ensure the facility remains in regulatory compliance with the PA Department of Health and Humans Services 55 Pa. Code Chapter 2600 through regular audits.
  • Hire, supervise, train, evaluate, discipline, and provided needed information to clinical team.
  • Take an essential role in the admission process by assisting the Administrator with the assessment process and obtaining regulatory paperwork.
  • Work with staff to appropriately update the medical chart, DME, and assessment plan as needed.
  • Work shifts at the community including but not limited to Med Tech positions and Caregiver positions based on the needs of the community.
  • Oversee the scheduling, staffing, and attendance of Med Techs and Caregivers.
  • Ensure appropriate supplies are ordered and maintained to meet resident needs.
  • Monitor Med Techs in medication administration and management with audits and retraining.
  • Maintain On-Call for the community to assist caregivers including during weekends and holidays
Qualifications/ Education:
  • Current CNA License in PA.
  • Current Med Tech and Diabetes Education Certification in PA.
  • Experience in Personal Care strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to work all shifts including overnight and weekend shifts if needed.
