Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled, hands-on machinist with experience in CNC lathes. This is a role for someone who has a strong understanding of CNC lathe programming and setup. Haas lathes a plus, Fanuc lathes a plus. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently on jobs that require patience, precision, and creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC lathe to produce parts to spec Optimize speeds, feeds, and tooling for a wide range of materials Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts to tolerance Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet job requirements and deadlines Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

3-5+ years of machining experience Knowledge of CNC lathes (Haas, Fanuc) Ability to work independently and think critically to resolve production challenges Experience with tight-tolerance work and attention to detail Familiarity with G-code, conversational controls, and basic CAM software is a plus Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
