Job Title:

CNC Machinist (Lathe or Mill Turn) Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist specializing in lathe or mill turn operations to perform short and long run large part machining. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of GD&T measurement units and the capability to measure and record dimensions accurately per sketches and ICL requirements. Responsibilities Perform set-up and operation of CNC machines, specifically lathe and mill turn. Utilize inspection tools such as height gauges, bore gauges, radius gauges, dial calipers, flapper gauges, and scales to ensure quality. Interpret and work from blueprints to execute machining tasks. Work with materials including titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, and steel alloy. Handle round rotating parts and employ larger scale measurement devices for quality inspection. Conduct operations with low volume high mix, specifically 6-piece lot sizes. Operate with components such as tailstock or steady rest CNC components. Turn and measure threads, including suspended threads, to precise specifications. Essential Skills Experience with 2-axis CNC lathe set-up. Proficiency with Moreseiki and similar turning machines. Familiarity with Siemens controls. Experience working with ITAR regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with large part machining. Capability to use larger scale measurement devices. Comfortable working with various metals and alloys. Why Work Here? • 5:30 AM). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cerritos, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00
