CNC Machine Operator

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Knowledge of tooling, and fixturing is a must.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• The candidate must possess strong organizational skills.
• Ability to efficiently manage a schedule.
• Pay is commensurate based on capabilities and experience This job is for you if you have:
• 5+ years of experience operating CNC lathes, including multi-axis machines.
• Experience with Mill Turn and Multi-Turret Machines is a plus.
• Knowledge of

DMG-MORI

machines is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, and Mitsubishi controls)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience with cutting tool selection, application, and speeds/feeds
• Experience with live tooling, and sub-spindles.
• Solid understanding on machining materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, and other alloys.
• Experience with bar feeders.
• Understanding cutter selection, speeds, feeds, chip load.
• CMM knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to inspect your own parts with metrology equipment such as, OD mics, Calipers, Depth mics, dial Bore gages, bore mics, snap ring gages, telescope gages, thread plugs, gage pins, height stand optical comparator etc.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude while also being able to complete tasks individually.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products.
• Skills assessment will be provided.

• Ability to stand for extended period of time.
