The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and quality control to ensure products meet strict specifications. The CNC Machinist will work with advanced equipment such as Fanuc controls, CAD software, and programmable logic controllers, contributing to the efficient and accurate production process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery including milling machines and lathes, ensuring adherence to specifications. Program CNC machines using CAD drawings and CNC programming skills to produce complex parts. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate machining. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Conduct quality inspections using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and tolerances. Utilize welding skills when necessary for assembly or repair tasks. Operate press brake machines and forklift as needed for material handling and fabrication processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols. Assist in packaging finished products for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members in assembly processes and warehouse operations to meet production goals. Skills Proficiency with CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Experience with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and quality control procedures. Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices accurately. Familiarity with welding techniques, press brake machines, forklift operation, and warehouse experience is a plus. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, packaging, and quality assurance. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in machining or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
