CNC Machinist

As a machinist you will handle working in a team environment to setup and operate all machines in the shop. You will work with shift other T1, T2, and T3 machinists to make parts and assemblies efficiently and to print. This position is hourly pay and reports to the shop manager. • Hourly pay is $25.00 - $35.00 / hour depending on level of experience •

Required Education:

Highschool Diploma or GED • Eligible Benefits paid time off Health Insurance Retirement Responsibilities / Requirements Program in Mastercam/ fusion, set up, and operate CNC machining centers and related equipment with minor efficiency and medium scrap rate. Perform manual machining operations, including milling, turning, and grinding. Read and interpret. detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions. Load and unload parts, monitor machine cycles, and detect malfunctions such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain accurate production documentation and communicate effectively with team members regarding production runs. Maintain efficiency and quality standards in all work produced. Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor or manager. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Proficient in operating common hand tools such as drill, sanders, grinder, etc. Be on time and present for entire shift period, and able to work overtime when necessary. Ability to be on feet throughout a shift and move up to 50 lbs. Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations. Proficiency with basic hand-held measuring tools. Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and mechanical functions. Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with how to use computers and generic Microsoft office programs.
