Hy-Grade Valve Inc. Hy-Grade Valve Inc., a manufacturer of high‑quality industrial valves and components, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills with Okuma and Fanuc controls in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines (lathes/mills) using Okuma and Fanuc controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding for jobs
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and program edits as needed
• Monitor machine operations, inspect parts, and ensure they meet dimensional and surface finish requirements
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and QC personnel to resolve machining issues
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report any mechanical or quality concerns

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a production or job shop environment preferred
• Experience with Okuma and Fanuc controls preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards
• Strong understanding of G‑code with the ability to make program edits at the machine
• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in machining a plus
