CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist / CNC Apprentice Tobe Manufacturing is looking to expand our CNC department and add motivated people who want to grow with a long-established custom manufacturing shop. We are open to candidates ranging from recent machining program graduates to experienced CNC machinists. The right person will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Our shop performs a wide variety of machining and fabrication work using both CNC and manual equipment. CNC Equipment Haas

Mill Responsibilities Depending on experience level, responsibilities may include: CNC machine setup and operation Tool changes and offset adjustments Running CNC mills and lathes Blueprint reading and part inspection Measuring parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges Deburring and part finishing Assisting with fixturing and setups Maintaining a clean and organized work area More experienced candidates may also assist with: Programming edits Setup optimization Process improvement Training newer operators Qualifications Basic machining knowledge preferred CNC machining school or community college program is a plus Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Reliable and willing to learn Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment Experience levels may range from entry-level/apprentice to experienced CNC machinists.
