Schedule:

5.25 and 12-hour night shifts

Key Qualifications:

Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging and related modalities Strong ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform exams independently Solid understanding of anatomy, pathology, and protocols for general ultrasound studies Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members Current BLS certification required Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging setting recommended

Responsibilities:

Perform general ultrasound examinations following established protocols, ensuring accuracy and image quality Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns to provide a comfortable experience Work collaboratively with physicians and other medical staff to relay findings and discuss next steps Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines within the imaging department Troubleshoot and report equipment issues promptly to minimize technical disruptions
