Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Machinist and Programmer Job Description This role is responsible for manufacturing precision parts in an accurate and timely manner using both manual and CNC machine centers. You will set up, program, and operate CNC equipment, interpret engineering blueprints, and ensure all parts meet print specifications. In addition, you may make or repair machine tools and assist in maintaining industrial machines to support reliable production. Responsibilities Manufacture parts according to print specifications using manual and CNC machine centers, ensuring accuracy and quality. Set up and run a variety of machine tools to produce parts that meet dimensional and tolerance requirements. Program, edit, and adjust CNC machining programs using Mazatrol controls to optimize performance and part quality. Use CNC mills and related equipment to machine components to precise specifications. Study and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to plan efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Check all diameters, dimensions, and critical features to verify parts conform to engineering and quality standards. Make or repair machine tools as needed to support production and maintain equipment capability. Assist in maintaining industrial machines by identifying issues and supporting corrective actions to minimize downtime. Utilize Autodesk 360 and FeatureCAM tools, where applicable, to support programming and machining activities. Follow all safety procedures while working near moving mechanical parts and operating machining equipment. Essential Skills Proven experience with CNC machining, including setup and operation of CNC machine centers. Hands-on experience programming CNC machines, including editing and adjusting programs using Mazatrol controls. Proficiency with CNC mills and related machining equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately. Strong skills in checking and verifying all diameters, dimensions, and tolerances on finished parts. Experience planning efficient manufacturing processes based on blueprints and specifications. Capability to set up and run a variety of machine tools to manufacture parts according to specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications Exposure to Autodesk 360 for managing and viewing design and manufacturing data. Exposure to FeatureCAM for CAM programming and toolpath generation. Experience making or repairing machine tools in a production environment. Background in maintaining or assisting in the maintenance of industrial machines. Comfort working with Mazatrol-based CNC controls and related programming environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a factory environment where you will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and operating machinery. The setting includes exposure to fumes or airborne particles typical of machining and industrial processes. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sheboygan Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
