Job Description

CNC Machinist Not a Button Pusher. A Difference Maker. Are you the person everyone trusts when the tolerances get tight and the setup isn't straightforward? This role is for a CNC Machinist who owns the process—from setup through inspection—not someone who just hits cycle start. What You'll Do Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines with confidence. Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T and know what those numbers really mean on the floor. Make offsets and basic program edits on controls like Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak. Choose tooling, dial in cutting parameters, and handle fixture setup and part changeovers. Run first article inspections and in-process checks using micrometers, calipers, bore and height gauges. Keep machines healthy with basic preventative maintenance and a sharp eye for problems. What You Bring 3-10+ years of CNC machining experience. Comfortable doing setups—not just loading parts. Strong understanding of feeds/speeds, materials (steel, aluminum, stainless), and tooling. Proven reliability, attention to detail, and a serious quality mindset. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while still being a solid team player. Extra Credit Experience with CAD/CAM (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.). Multi-axis (4th/5th), proto@type, or short-run work. A track record of reducing scrap and tightening cycle times. If you're ready to be treated like a true machinist, not a button pusher, send a quick summary of your CNC experience, the machines/controls you've run, and the @type of work you enjoy most. a Button Pusher.
