This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with experience setting up and operating 2-axis CNC lathe machines to manufacture high-precision plastic and non-metallic components while maintaining strict quality and production standards.

Duarte, CA Pay Rate:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Responsibilities Set up and operate 2-axis CNC lathe machines for production runs Edit, load, and manage CNC programs as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments Identify, document, and report non-conforming parts Maintain production schedules and achieve cycle time targets Complete production records and ERP/MRP documentation accurately Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and improve processes Perform secondary machining or finishing operations when required Monitor machine performance and support efficiency improvements Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of CNC lathe machining experience Strong CNC setup and programming knowledge Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment Solid math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; JobBoss experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Express Employment Professionals specializes in connecting skilled professionals with top employers in manufacturing and industrial environments.
