CNC Machinist/Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Read blue prints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T. Use micrometers, calipers, bore gages, height gage and a manual CMM. Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry. Set up machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures. Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift. Edit G code and M code programs. Operate 3, 4, & 5 axis vertical and horizontal CNC Mills with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance. Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Required to lift up to 50 lbs. Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION

High School Diploma 5+ years preferred experience in manufacturing (on the job training available as needed for those who are missing experience) Able to work well with others

SHIFTS:

Day Shift M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Swing Shift M-Th 3:30 pm - 1:30 am

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
