Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC programming, machining processes, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs, setting up and operating CNC machines, and ensuring the highest quality of our manufactured parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify CNC programs for 4 and 5 axis milling machines and wire EDM, experience with DMG MORI and HAAS is a plus Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring that all parts meet precise specifications. Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each job. Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processes and workflow. Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC programmer/machinist, preferably in the firearms industry. Proficient in CAD/CAM software preferably Fusion 360 Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Must be able to pass criminal background check and be a citizen or permanent resident. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations
• Inspect machined parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Perform routine maintenance on machines
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to optimize production processes
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed Qualifications
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in machining operations including milling, lathe work, and welding
• Familiarity with tools such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and tooling
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
