Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging and make an immediate impact as an experienced Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity offers an engaging role for professionals skilled in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The position is open to qualified technologists with RCIS certification and availability to start as soon as possible.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Some on-call responsibilities required
Desired Background:
Current, valid RCIS certification (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Substantial experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory Proficient with imaging equipment, cardiac monitoring, and sterile technique Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Must not be a resident of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Dedicated to delivering top-quality patient care throughout procedures Positive references from recent clinical assignments
Key Responsibilities:
Operate specialized equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures Provide support to physicians and the cath lab team during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and related interventions Ensure accurate patient preparation, documentation, and post-procedure follow-up Prepare and maintain a sterile procedural environment, adhering to clinical protocols Monitor patient status and equipment function throughout each case Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled Uphold safety standards and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment This position presents an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills and work closely with a dynamic team dedicated to advanced cardiac care.
