CNC Machinist/Setup - 1st Shift

We are currently hiring for a 1st shift CNC machinist. We are a custom mold shop, so this is a non-production position. Standard hours will be 7:00 am - 3:30 pm , with additional over-time hours available as needed.

CNC Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands on approach.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Problem solving-recognize a problem and come up with a solution
• Ability to keep information and data accurate and organized.
• Must be able to climb onto CNC platform at workstation to adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
• Experience with manual machining techniques on CNC equipment.
• Engineering mindset-comprehend how things go together and function.
• Quick learner- see how things are done and be able to duplicate processes.
• Good communication- working with engineers, project managers, outside vendors, and customers, as well as other team members within the department.
