Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. Your expertise will help keep our advanced manufacturing equipment running smoothly, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other automated equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and sensors. Repair or replace faulty components including sensors, motors, drives, and control systems to ensure machinery operates at peak performance. Utilize industrial electrician experience and knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems to address electrical faults safely and efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings for accurate troubleshooting and repairs. Support calibration activities for precision measuring instruments and vision inspection systems to maintain product quality standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on modifications or upgrades involving distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems. Conduct field service tasks as needed at various locations to resolve equipment issues promptly. Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation in compliance with company policies. Assist in training team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on CNC machinery within manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and calibration techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), vision inspection systems, and Calypso software is highly desirable. Electrical experience including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems; ability to read schematics accurately. Knowledge of AutoCAD for interpreting technical drawings; experience with industrial electrician tasks is a plus. Previous field service experience working on complex machinery in manufacturing or military settings is advantageous. Proven experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Welding experience is a plus.
Pay:
$35.00 - $43.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
