Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Mill Setup Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to technical specifications, and the highest levels of craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technology and contribute to innovative manufacturing projects. 4- 10 Hour Day Work Schedule Monday - Thursday •$1000 Sign on bonus paid after 90 day probation•Responsibilities Set up CNC milling machines, including installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Independently setup and run parts to print Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure precise machining. Operate CNC equipment such as Fanuc-controlled mills, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained throughout production. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to inspect parts for conformance to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of setups, adjustments, inspections, and quality control reports in compliance with manufacturing protocols. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives following lean manufacturing principles. Experience 3+ Years as a CNC Mill Setup Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code; experience with CAM software is highly preferred. Familiarity with GD&T principles, blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings. Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines, particularly Fanuc controls or equivalent systems. Skilled in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances necessary for machining operations. Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, tooling fixtures, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.
