CNC Milling Lead

Job description: 2nd shift Milling Lead 3:00 PM

• 1:30 AM 4x10 shift. Off Fridays (Saturday and Sunday)
• unless there is OT.

Strong technical and solid communication/leadership skills are KEY in this role. This is a working lead position. Experienced 5+ axis machinist Okuma, Haas, and/or Kitamura experience. Willemin experience is a plus. Must be able to read blueprints. Must have set-up experience. Programming experience not required, may make minor edits to programs without programming software at the machine. No in-depth programming required. This is a working lead position. Will run a machine when not performing other work. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be helpful, approachable to the team. Will be the leader on 2nd shift to assist with ensuring safety, quality and production/productivity goals are met. Assists with resolving any issues/assisting employees on the shift with troubleshooting. Is the technical guide/resource for the shift. Trains/helps employees to continue their machine learning Reviews paperwork for accuracy. Must have basic computer skills. Must have outstanding attendance. 8-10 people on the shift Reports to the dept manager Experience working with small, complex parts is highly preferred.
