CNC Machine Operator Day Shift | Full-Time | Monday-Friday About the Role We're looking for a dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our growing production team. In this role, you'll operate and monitor CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components in a high-volume manufacturing environment . This position is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and teamwork. No advanced CNC programming required. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) using traveler packets, blueprints, and work instructions Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Verify the correct CNC program is loaded before running jobs Complete and submit first-piece inspections for quality approval Monitor machines during production and make basic adjustments to maintain part quality Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Identify and report quality issues, tooling wear, or machine concerns Perform daily machine cleaning, chip removal, and basic preventive maintenance Accurately complete production and quality documentation Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards What We're Looking For Required Skills Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Experience operating CNC machines or strong mechanical experience Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances Comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Basic math skills (fractions and decimals) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Why You'll Like Working Here Competitive benefits package , including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Life and disability insurance Uniforms and tool purchasing program Stable, long-term employment with a company that values its people

Work Schedule & Environment Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM Fridays often end early at 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM , depending on workload

Apply today! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seward, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
