Temp-to-Hire Benefits of the CNC operator and programmer: Health insurance and full benefits package Paid holidays and vacation time 401(k) plan with employer matching Stable shop with long-term customers Room for advancement Weekly pay Duties of the CNC operator and programmer: Repair aluminum and steel cores using CNC lathes Use conversational software for machine programming Interpret drawings and blueprints to select tooling Determine cut positions and optimal speed/feed ratios Setup and align tooling using precision instruments Monitor machine functionality and make adjustments Maintain high focus on quality and precision Requirements of the CNC operator and programmer: 3+ years of machinist experience 2-3 years of experience with CNC lathes Strong math skills and blueprint proficiency Skilled with calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ability to learn conversational programming Manual machining background is a plus Welding skills are a valuable asset
