Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer and play a vital role in creating precise, high-quality components for a variety of industries. In this energetic role, you will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure efficient production processes. Your expertise will directly impact product quality and manufacturing efficiency, making this an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about machining and precision engineering. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and other CNC equipment using Cimatron CAM software and manual programming techniques. Other CAM software experience is helpful. Interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and specifications to produce accurate parts. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, inspections, and quality control reports to ensure traceability and compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in CNC programming for milling machines and CNC lathes with knowledge of Fanuc or similar control systems. Strong understanding of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding. Skilled in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks or similar for part design review. Proficiency in CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming software for toolpath creation. Cimatron experience preferred, not required. Experience with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and dimensions. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts (certification preferred), and other shop equipment safely. Mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, welding, tooling setup, and troubleshooting CNC equipment. Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
