CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist

A precision manufacturing company producing highly engineered industrial components is seeking a CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist in Dover, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, growing custom manufacturing environment where your CNC programming, setup, troubleshooting, and machining expertise will help produce complex, high-quality parts and tooling. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist position include: Experience with CNC programming, machine setup, machining operations, troubleshooting, tooling adjustments, offsets, and program edits. Experience working with up to 3-axis CNC mills and/or lathes required. Okuma CNC experience required; Haas, Doosan, Fadal, or similar CNC platform experience preferred. Mastercam or CAD/CAM programming experience preferred. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding methods while supporting prototype, custom, and low-volume machining projects. Conduct first article inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances and quality standards are met. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on tooling, process improvements, custom manufacturing solutions, documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Salary :

$30 - $45/hour, commensurate with experience.
