Layout and Fitter for miscellaneous/structural steel

NJ based company looking for a structural steel fabricator

• Job description: Looking for a Head fabricator who can layout and fit.

Must be able to oversee and lead a team in completion of various projects. Looking for someone with experience in that role.

Responsibilities:

• Layout structural and miscellaneous steel
• Fit up structural and miscellaneous steel
• Operate overhead crane unloading material and loading finished projects
• Lead a team in projects to completion

Job Skills, Qualifications, Requirements:

• Certified welder
• Osha 10 card or greater
• Form of transportation
• Understand and speak English
• Ability to MIG and stick weld
• Ability to read blueprints or follow technical specifications
• Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for long periods of time; often doing repetitive motions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced mathematic skills.

Pay commensurate with experience. Medical insurance and 401k program offered

Monday-Friday 7AM to 3PM. Occasional Saturdays if needed
