Full Job Description Position Overview:

We are a growing CNC Machining business looking for the right individual to support our expanding business with a recent addition (doubling our capacity). The right individual has a strong technical acumen having worked hands-on in a machining environment, setting up and running CNC milling and lathe machines. A strong team and quality oriented mind-set is just as important. Our work environment is professional, clean and friendly. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a team, work to achieve production, quality and schedule goals. Run CNC machines, monitor running products to produce quality products and insure a successful production run. Set-up and prove out/edit CNC programs. Provide quality checks utilizing inspection equipment and quality measuring tools. Document inspected parts in a neat manner for required quality and customer documentation. Growth opportunities as business grows. Maintain a safe work environment; identifying improvement areas to anticipate and eliminate hazards Maintain a positive, performance-oriented team culture

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

2+ years of previous CNC machining experience Previous lathe experience a plus Previous set-up experience required Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference and apply concepts of basic math. Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting products Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when needed Must be able to pass background screen

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time Must be able to carry approx. 30 pounds at times
