What You'll Be Responsible For Set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce custom and production parts Review technical drawings and job routings to determine the most efficient machining approach Ensure parts meet specifications for tolerance, finish, and overall quality Perform inspections using precision measurement tools (first-piece and in-process checks) Maintain consistent production output while meeting deadlines Assist with troubleshooting machining challenges and improving workflows Participate in team-based problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts Remain flexible with scheduling, including overtime when required to meet customer timelines Take initiative in improving processes, efficiency, and overall shop performance What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (setup and operation required) Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing instructions Strong math skills and mechanical reasoning Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality Dependable, team-focused, and willing to take ownership of work Core Skills & Keywords CNC Machinist, CNC Setup, CNC Operator, Blueprint Reading, Precision Machining, GD&T, Manufacturing, Tooling, Production Machining, Quality Inspection, Calipers, Micrometers, Continuous Improvement Compensation & Benefits Wages based on experience and skill level Health and dental coverage 401(k) plan Paid holidays (8 annually) Consistent hours with flexibility when needed How to Apply Apply online or stop in to complete an application at: 700 Feucht Rd., Denmark, WI 54208 Classic Gears & Machining, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
