Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Tech/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC machining, setup, and understanding of G & M codes. You should have the ability to work with various materials and precision measuring instruments. This role is critical in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications and tolerances while being a team player with a willingness to go above and beyond. Duties Set up and operate CNC Mills (Vertical and Horizontal) to produce precision parts. Lathe experience a plus. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure quality standards are met. Perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments during the machining process. Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve production efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
