Job Description

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Co-Head of Coaching to help lead and inspire our coaching team. This pivotal role is a shared leadership providing more consistent support for athletes and staff. It combines the different strengths, experience, and perspectives to ensure better coverage & communication within our recreational program and with our coaching staff to create long-term stability while building a more positive, team-focused gym culture. Lead, mentor, and support a team of gymnastics coaches. Develop comprehensive coaching curricula that promote skill development, safety protocols, and positive behavior management. Oversee the planning and execution of training sessions, tumbling meets, & special events to maximize engagement and learning outcomes. Ensure all coaching staff adhere to gym safety standards and maintain a safe environment for children & adults alike. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to re-design or create age-appropriate activities that enhance gymnastics experiences for gymnasts of varying skill levels. Monitor participant progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt coaching approaches to meet individual needs. Promote a culture of inclusivity, motivation, and excellence while fostering teamwork among staff & participants. How the
Shared Role Works:
Responsibilities are collaboratively divided based on strengths, availability, and interests. Regular communication between Co-Head Coaches is expected. Scheduling is flexible and designed to complement both coaches. Coverage and support for each other is key to success.
Pay:
$15,600.00 - $22,880.00 per year
