This position reports to the Trails Director.

Essential Job FunctionsMaintain on-mountain trails by performing dirt work, rock picking, brushing and revegetationResponsible for seeding, fertilizing and hay blowing on mountain terrainMonitor trail conditions for hazards, ensuring proper signage, and removing debris or obstacles to maintain a safe environment for all usersWork with other team members to coordinate maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient trail upkeep and addressing any trail issues promptlyMaintain tools and equipmentMay engage guests to promote a positive guest experienceOperate chainsaw (as required)Other duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience RequirementsValid, current unrestricted Driver's License requiredHigh school degree or equivalent preferredAttend fire prevention training (as required)Attend forklift and ATV training (as required)Attend first aid training (as required)Attend chain saw safety class (as required)Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR preferredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesComfortable working on mountain terrain including steep gradesKnowledge of company policies and proceduresAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyAbility to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goalsFollows all safety policies and procedures and exercises caution when workingAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to be a team player, working collaboratively with othersAdditional InformationWork Environment and physical demands Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time.

Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
