Job Description
Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Military Operations Analyst to support our Peterson SFB location in Colorado Springs, CO . Provide the full spectrum of daily operational support to USASMDC and JTF-Gold IJSTO operations. Advise IJSTO Leads to develop current and future IJSTO planning, and operational mechanisms that envelop coordination requirements as the Army service component command (ASCC) to
USSPACECOM.
Apply deliberate and crisis action planning skill sets to JTF-Gold and USASMDC to supportUSSPACECOM
planning. Review, analyze, and support ongoing Army IJSTO Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and Mission Analysis. Advises USASMDC in developing supporting Operations Plans (OPLAN) / Contingency Plans (CONPLAN), with specific attention to the IJSTO annexes. Monitor current Department of Defense (DoD), Service, Joint, USSTRATCOM & USSPACECOM IJSTO organizational missions, functions, structures, and command relationships for implementation intoUSASMDC IJSTO.
Examine future operational capabilities and doctrinal requirements to support Army and Joint IJSTO planning and execution efforts. Attend IJSTO related meetings; may be required to represent USASMDC positions at USSPACECOM, Army, and other joint force related meetings. Develop, implement and maintain a Physical and Facility Security Program IAW Joint Staff, National Security Agency (NSA), DoD, Army andUSSPACECOM
security standards. This includes items and actions such as: access controls, alarm systems, badging, sensors, communication security (COMSEC), sensitive items security measures, security force integration, etc. Develop, maintain, coordinate and implement Alternative Compensatory Control Measure (ACCM) policy and procedure. Training Program Development, Coordination and Implementation support.Qualifications Required Skills/Experience :
Space, JOPES/APEX, Staffing, MDMP, Military planning and operations experience Understand SSC, CCMD, DOD, inter-agency coordination mechanismsTravel:
25 % Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret / SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.Education Requirements :
Bachelors Degree w/at least eight (8) years of relevant work and experience in military planning, daily operational support, information and facility security, technical analyses or eleven (10) years of relevant work experience in military operations with a high school diploma or GED. Experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above.Desired Skills :
