Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
The management training program has been established to assist management in filling executive and supervisory positions within the Pinnacle Bancorp banks and to permit a trainee to absorb a wide range of banking activities to fully familiarize him or herself with the total operation of a bank in a relatively short period of time. The training is scheduled to run from twelve to eighteen months depending on the progress of the trainee and availability of the trainers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Responsible for learning daily operations of retail, operations, and lending in branch environment. Prospects new customers. Cross sells banking services to new and existing customers. Prepares reports for Management. Ability to manage a portfolio of loan accounts and assist with preparation for loan committee. Completes required trainings. Attends customer or bank sponsored events and actively builds relationships. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Regular and reliable attendance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of bank operations, products, and policies. Knowledge of lending practices and principles. Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and principles Skill in communicating with co-workers, customers, and management in a courteous and professional manner. Skill in problem solving. Skill to make sound decisions. Ability to work within strict time constraints and a handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to function as a team player. Ability to take initiative to self-start tasks and projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related area.

Other Full-Time benefits include:
8 paid holidays
  • 17 PTO days each year for the first five years of employment.
  • After five years, 22 PTO days each year.
  • After ten years, 27 PTO days each year.
  • Employees must also complete the 90-day introductory period prior to accruing PTO.
  • New employees will receive 16 hours of paid sick time upon their hire date.
