Position:

Coal Yard Tech Pay:

Starting at $16.50/hour

Shift :

1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

Monday-Friday Location:

9485 US-42 Ghent, KY 41045

Position Description:

As an Coal Handler, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of conveyor belts, transfer towers, crusher buildings by pulling coal away from conveyors, shoveling into wheelbarrows, sweeping floors, dusting walls and beams. Using firehose to wash down outside conveyor systems. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to stand for 8 hours Ability to squat down to get under conveyors Ability to push and pull rakes to pull coal from under conveyors Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to use shovel Ability to work at heights Ability to work alone/and as a team

Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years old, have a valid Driver License, and will be required to pass a background check and submit to a drug and alcohol screening.

Other/Special note:

In this position the incumbent will work in a warehouse that is not climate controlled, with loud noises, work in confined spaces, while completing duties that require repetitive movements such as but not limited to crouching, crawling, kneeling, bending, steeping, squatting, twisting, turning etc. Facilities Performance Group is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
