POSITION SUMMARY

The Coding Specialist is primarily responsible for billing, charge entry, and related coding functions within the Imaging Department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent, required Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical or healthcare setting, required In lieu of experience, graduate from an accredited Medical Billing/Coding program may be considered Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification and/or Radiology Certified Coder (RCC) certification, preferred Candidates who do not hold a CPC or RCC at the time of hire will be required to obtain certification within two (2) years of employment

WORK SCHEDULE
