Coffee Service Technician

Coffee Service Technician We are in search of a Coffee Equipment Technician covering New England. You will be responsible for working on and repairing coffee equipment including espresso machines, water filtration systems, and other associated equipment. The work will primarily consist of driving throughout New England conducting emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installation. Paid weekly $21-26/hr

DOE Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm (On call for Weekends) What your day will look like: Drive to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair coffee equipment on site Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations Identify damage, mechanical defects, electrical failures, and water leaks Troubleshoot and repair damage or defects Maintain a log of all found issues Maintain part inventory levels in company-provided service vehicle Serve as the face of the company by providing a positive, professional demeanor and image May perform other duties as assigned Adhere to any and all safety protocols to include but not limited to vehicle monitoring programs such as Motive. Observe and abide by all company policies

Qualifications:

Reliable, accountable, and professional demeanor under high pressure situations. Proficiency with tools, machinery, electricity, and plumbing required Ability to reach schematics is preferred Previous coffee industry/mechanical experience preferred Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills Desire to share knowledge and ability to teach others Carry and transport up to 60 lbs repetitively, participate in physical activity moving equipment around and working in tight spaces, sit or stand for extended periods Successful working independently with little supervision and effectively collaborate with our team Basic computer software experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Availability to occasionally work weekends and work on call hours Availability to occasionally work longer than the standard eight hour shift Must have a valid and current driver's license issued within the United States, no major violations in the past 3 years, and be able to drive a company vehicle.
