We have an opportunity for a registered dental hygienist licensed in the State of Maine. Full-time and Part-time hours available. Our dental office team is well-trained and organized and our goal is to create a warm, friendly atmosphere for patients and team members. Our team is ready to support you - you will have dedicated instrument cassettes reserved just for you and an annual instrument budget to ensure you always have top of the line equipment. Additional RDH Compensation:
Quarterly Dental Hygiene Production Bonus Benefits (eligible after 30 days of employment): Health Insurance Vision Insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Employer-paid Short term disability Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments and provide quality dental care while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Perform chairside procedures and maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Document patient records accurately and review medical histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes. Utilize dental software Dentrix for record-keeping and appointment scheduling. Qualifications Valid State of Maine Registered Dental Hygienist license Proficient in providing exceptional dental hygiene patient care Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records Experience with dental software Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations Ability to perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
