• Full-time Our company is currently looking for a Collector to work in our HEB office.

We are a strong, reliable mortgage company with over twenty years in the market. We have a long history of promoting from within and long-tenured employees. This position will report to the Portfolio Asset Manager.

Responsibilities:

Provide consistent follow up on delinquent mortgage accounts ranging from 11-90 + days delinquent Outbound and Inbound collection and customer service calls Provide delinquency "work out" plans with the ultimate goal being to bring the delinquent account current in the fastest, most efficient manner possible Have an understand Effectively communicate with customers and management on a daily basis Analyze and solve problems on a daily basis

Requirements:

Spanish speaking Minimum of three-year collections experience in the mortgage or auto industries Have an understanding of foreclosure and bankruptcy processes Must work well under pressure to meet monthly goals The candidate should be energetic, flexible, empathetic, and must have a positive attitude Strong follow up skills Must have excellent "people" skills with a strong customer service attitude Excellent written and verbal communications skills Self-starter with a strong work ethic Must be able to work without supervision and must be self-motivated Ability to integrate rapidly with an existing team Basic understanding of finance/lending Must be able to work some nights, weekends, and holidays Reliability, dependability, and honesty a must' '
