Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 80 years is currently seeking enthusiastic, computer savvy, high-detail individuals for our corporate office in Warren, MI who are looking to begin a career or are ready to take the next step. The Collections Intern will support the Collections team with administrative and clerical tasks related to customer accounts. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, finance, or business operations while developing strong organizational and data management skills. Key Responsibilities Upload and attach documents to customer accounts accurately and timely Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry Maintain organized digital and physical records related to collections activity Assist with updating account notes and tracking documentation status Support the Collections team with ad hoc projects as needed Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive customer information Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) Ability to follow written procedures and meet deadlines Reliable, professional, and eager to learn Previous administrative or office experience
