Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish that matches the vehicle's original color. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques for structural repairs and custom fabrication projects. Repair or replace auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision to ensure safety and clarity. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, auto estimating, and minor mechanical repairs to support overall vehicle restoration. Use auto estimating software to assess damage and determine repair scope while communicating effectively with customers about repair processes. Handle heavy lifting safely while working on complex repairs involving assembly, detailing, or auto restoration projects. Requirements Dealership experience or hands-on experience in an automotive repair environment is highly preferred. Proficiency with MIG welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment. Knowledge of auto glass installation, soldering, auto restoration processes, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate repair details clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating software and automotive repair standards is advantageous.
