Job Overview Join our dynamic Collision Center team as a Collision Center Technician, where your expertise will transform damaged vehicles into safe, beautifully restored masterpieces. This energetic role offers the chance to work with a variety of automotive repairs, from minor dents to major structural overhauls. You'll be at the forefront of vehicle restoration, utilizing your technical skills and passion for auto body repair to deliver exceptional results. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening using specialized tools and techniques Conduct welding operations such as MIG welding and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision Utilize power tools, hand tools, and airless paint sprayers for sanding, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces to achieve a flawless look Replace and repair auto glass and perform auto painting tasks, including color matching and detailing for a professional finish Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing damage severity and preparing repair plans while ensuring adherence to safety standards Handle heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or structural repairs, maintaining efficiency without compromising safety Maintain detailed documentation of repair work, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction throughout the process Requirements Prior dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards and procedures Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques required for various repair tasks Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including vehicle maintenance, auto restoration, and general automotive repair Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto painting equipment such as airless paint sprayers Knowledge of auto glass replacement procedures and auto body repair techniques essential for comprehensive vehicle restoration Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and expectations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair is a valuable asset for understanding complex vehicle systems Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to restoring vehicles with precision and care.
