Overview:

As a Parts Counter Associate, you are the technical backbone of our dealership. You will be the primary point of contact for retail customers and our service technician team, ensuring they receive the exact components needed for efficient repairs.

Key Responsibilities Customer Support:

Greet and assist retail, shop, and phone customers with professional parts identification and expert advice.

Technical Sourcing:

Use digital catalogs and dealership management systems (DMS) to accurately identify and order OEM and aftermarket parts.

Inventory Management:

Pull orders from stock, track shipments, replenish assigned inventory daily, and participate in regular audits.

Service Department Synergy:

Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are billed correctly to Repair Orders (ROs) and notify them immediately when special orders arrive.

Sales Growth:

Educate customers on companion products (upselling) and current parts specials to enhance service quality and profitability.

Qualifications Experience:

2-5 years of experience in at a dealership parts counter position or automotive retail is preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED ; vocational training in automotive repair is a plus.

Skills:

Proficiency with computer parts-lookup systems, strong phone communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Physical:
