Commercial Building Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced skilled Commercial Building Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of large commercial buildings. This role is vital in ensuring that building systems function efficiently, safely, and reliably to provide a comfortable environment for tenants, staff, and visitors. Duties Handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections Troubleshoot base building systems and respond to emergencies Support fire/life safety checks and code compliance Manage vendors, obtain quotes, and oversee repair work Assist with lighting, doors, drywall, signage, and general facility upkeep Maintain clean, safe mechanical rooms and exterior areas

Requirements:

3-5 years of commercial building maintenance experience Universal CFC certification Strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing knowledge Experience with boilers, chillers, pumps, BAS, and energy management Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks Reliable, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable working independently

Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
