The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including framing, trim work, and installation of fixtures. This role involves working on commercial projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards. The Commercial Carpenter will play a vital part in delivering high-quality construction services for a range of commercial buildings and renovation projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinetry installation, and siding work with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to complete tasks efficiently. Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, and other hardware according to specifications. Follow safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial carpentry or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. Strong understanding of safety standards and protocols on construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
