Local CDL Route Driver

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a garbage truck to collect waste from residential and commercial locations. Follow daily routes and schedules to ensure timely collection of waste. Communicate with the dispatch team to report any issues or delays. Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials according to company and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and light maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safe operation. Assist with loading and unloading of waste, when necessary. Maintain accurate records of pickups and report any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service and handle any customer inquiries in a professional manner. Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required, Class A or B preferred. Clean driving record ((No restrictions/DUI's in the last 5 years). Able to pass a DOT physical & drug test Ability to work early mornings, and occasional weekends. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Able to work w/ little supervision (you're solo in a truck, controlling your own environment!) Previous experience in the waste industry or a similar field preferred, but not required.
