Regional Transportation Program is a non-profit organization that operates within Cumberland County, Maine, and provides transportation to the public using (mostly) large vans that can be driven with the same driver's license as a sedan. Many of our customers prefer to use our services because we are responsive to the unique needs of some groups such as: those who have disabilities, our senior citizens, and even smaller children who need to get to school safely. We have additional opportunities for drivers who have a Maine

CDL-A /B

(with passenger endorsement) such as our Lakes Region Explorer, a commuter shuttle that runs from Bridgton to Portland throughout the day.

This Part-Time Job:

Comes with work-life balance Comes with benefits Requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week (24hrs), but can offer up to 5 days per week (40 hours). The ideal candidate would be able to commit to 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Always observe all safety rules, requirements, and regulations Transport assigned riders on a schedule Assist riders on and off the vehicle Communicate with dispatch Complete daily vehicle and route reports

Qualifications:

Kempt, courteous, and professional disposition Strong English language speaking and reading skill, multilingual a plus! Current Maine Driver's License or CDL with fewer than 3 violations in 3 years Have held a US Driver's License for at least 5 years Pass a DOT/fitness for duty medical exam, and background checks Familiarity with technology such as using a tablet/smartphone/
