Job Description

Description Maine Medical Center Professional - Nonclinical Req #: 75929 For a limited time, Maine Medical Center is offering up to $3,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians! o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician - Procurement & Logistics role is responsible for purchasing, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining the inventory of medications and supplies; processing purchase orders and invoices; managing medication recalls; and ensuring compliance with all medication supply chain requirements. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
License/Certifications:
Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
Experience:
Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician required

Proficient in inventory systems and online ordering platforms. Knowledge of FDA standards, controlled substance regulations, and hazardous drug handling. Strong communication and collaboration skills with vendors, pharmacists, and clinical staff.
