Responsibilities Safely operate manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight. Manage route driving efficiently to meet schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and vehicle safety Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, load details, and delivery receipts for accurate record-keeping Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL A license demonstrating safe driving practices Hands-on experience operating different truck types including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks Delivery driver experience with a track record of punctuality and excellent customer service skills Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Knowledge of freight handling regulations and safety protocols for transporting various cargo types such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials (if applicable) Ability to perform route planning efficiently while managing time effectively on the road We are dedicated to fostering a positive work environment where your skills drive success.
