Commercial Drivers License A Truck Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded CDL A Driver for Over-the-Road (OTR) routes. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who enjoys the independence of the open road and prioritizes cargo security.

Responsibilities:

Operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck safely in various weather and traffic conditions. Plan efficient routes using GPS and navigation systems to meet delivery schedules. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving through electronic logging devices. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Secure cargo for transit using appropriate tools and techniques to prevent damage. Report any incidents, accidents, or violations to the dispatch team immediately.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CDL A Driver with a clean driving record. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card). Ability to handle long hours on the road and stay away from home for extended periods. Strong understanding of DOT safety regulations and FMCSA compliance. Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and freight software. Excellent time management skills and a professional attitude.

Pay:

$1,500.00 - $2,550.00 per week
