Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver and take charge of delivering essential materials with energy and precision! In this role, you'll operate a variety of trucks—including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds—ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will be vital in managing diverse delivery tasks, from load and unload operations to handling heavy lifting. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds. Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to maintain optimal truck performance. Drive delivery routes confidently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage the loading process for various truck types—front loader, rear loader, roll-off—to ensure proper weight distribution and secure cargo. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to prevent injuries or damage. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or issues. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating different truck types. Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery operations, preferably with heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks or tractor-trailers. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Familiarity with various truck configurations including flatbeds, roll-offs, front loaders, rear loaders, and dump trucks. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently during loading/unloading procedures. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and cargo handling.
